UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Aug. 4 — Russian troops advanced near Ustynivka village in northeastern Kharkiv oblast, reported DeepState, a Ukrainian OSINT war monitoring group.

Ustynivka is located near Artilne village, close to the state border. The Ukrainian Border Service reported that Russians tried to cross the border in this area, creating a new section of the combat actions in the region. On Jul. 28, DeepState showed the territory near Artilne village as occupied by Russian troops.

With the advance from Artilne toward Ustynivka, Russian forces had pushed deeper into the Kharkiv oblast.

As of 6:30 p.m. Aug. 4, Ukrainian officials had not commented on reports of Russian advances near Ustynivka.

This new section of the frontline is located between Dehtiarne and Milove border settlements, in an area where Russian troops have already attempted to break through the state border. DeepState also marked both settlements as occupied by Russians.
