Ukrainian Army Fought off the Russian Attack Near Novoselivske in the Kupiansk Direction – MoD

As of September 18, the Ukrainian military fought off Russian troops’ offensive in the region of Novoselivske in Luhansk oblast on Kupiansk axis.

Hanna Maliar reported about this on her Telegram channel. 

“In the Kupiansk direction, the adversary is looking for weaknesses in our defense,” she said. 

During the past day, Russian troops shelled the Kupiansk district several times. 

Note: As Deputy Minister of Defense, Hanna Maliar was reporting on the current situation on the frontline at 9:06 AM on September 18; this article is based on that report. Later in the day, the government dismissed Maliar and several other Deputy Ministers for the Ministry of Defence.
