KHARKIV OBLAST, UKRAINE, Apr 12 — Over the past day, the Russian army shelled about 20 settlements in the Kharkiv Oblast. The Russian attack injured three people, said Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
He noted that on April 11, at 4:40 p.m., the Russian army shelled Verkhnia Pysarivka, Chuhuiv district. The Russian shelling damaged the forestry building. Two employees of the enterprise, aged 52 and 46, were injured in the attack.
At 4:15 p.m., Velyki Prokhody of the Derhachiv community also came under Russian fire. The shelling injured a 76-year-old man. Two outbuildings and three houses burned down due to the shelling. The Russian military attack also damaged buildings and cars.
In addition, at 10:35 a.m., fire broke out in a forest in Novoosynove, Kupiansk district, after a Russian attack. At around 12:13 p.m., the Russians also shelled open areas of the Kharkiv and Vilkhivka territorial communities.
At noon, at 1:16 p.m., a garage caught fire due to the Russian shelling of Kupiansk. Rescuers arrived at the scene after the shelling and came under another attack, the State Emergency Service said.
According to Kharkiv police chief Volodymyr Tymoshko, on April 11 at around 10:40 a.m., the Russian military attacked Kharkiv with a Lancet drone, damaging civilian infrastructure.
In total, more than 110 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson, and Mykolaiv oblasts came under Russian artillery fire.
