UKRAINE, Sep. 8 — In 2026, foreign partners provided 4,736 units of equipment for the Ukrainian energy sector, including generators, transformers, modular boiler rooms, cogeneration units, and other equipment, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine said.

Since the beginning of the year, 589 humanitarian aid shipments totaling 5.6 thousand metric tons have been sent to regions across Ukraine. The shipments included 3,305 generators, 257 transformers, and 190 units of modular boiler plants, cogeneration units, and boilers.

29 partner countries and organizations, including UNICEF/WASH, IOM, PFRU, and Volvo, assisted. The Ministry is waiting for 767 generators, 266 transformers, and 123 units of other equipment.

Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, 41 countries have provided Ukraine with 2,557 humanitarian shipments containing energy equipment, with a total weight of over 32,500 metric tons. Over 29,500 metric tons of this amount have already been distributed among the regions. The donors of humanitarian aid include both energy companies and national governments.
