UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Sep. 9 — In the morning, a Russian drone hit a train in a railway station near Iskra village in the Izium district in eastern Kharkiv oblast, said the Izium Military Administration.

The drone hit the back part of the train and caused a fire.

Oleh Syniehubov, governor of the Kharkiv oblast, said that the attack injured eight people, leaving one man in a critical condition and another seven people with moderate injuries.

Russia continues to attack Ukrainian trains and railway infrastructure. On Sep. 8, the Ukrainian Railways press service reported several attacks across the country. One of them killed the train conductor of a train traveling from Dnipro to Zaporizhzhia.

In August, Russian forces attacked Lozova city in the southern Kharkiv oblast with Geran-3 drones, hitting the railway station. The attack killed two men and injured 11 people.
