UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Aug. 6 — Russian attacks on the Izium district in eastern Kharkiv oblast killed three people and injured three, including a child, said the Kharkiv regional police.
Russians attacked Balaklia in the Izium district, hitting a residential area. The attack killed two women and a man. In Andriivka village, a Russian attack injured an eight-year-old girl. Also, Russians launched a glide bomb at Pisky-Radkivski village, which hit a house and injured a man and a woman.
Over the past day, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and 24 settlements in the region with five missiles, four glide bombs, and 74 drones of different types, said Oleh Syniehubov, governor of the Kharkiv oblast.
In Kharkiv, Russians attacked the Kholodnohirskyi and Novobavarskyi districts, injuring 11 people.
Also, Russian attacks damaged a farm, houses, and a minibus in the Kupiansk district; an educational institution, an apartment building, a house, and a car in the Bohodykhiv district; another educational institution and a farm in the Chuhuiv district; and railway infrastructure in the Lozova district.
