Russian missile attack on Kharkiv injures 11 people (Photos)

UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Aug. 5 — In the morning, Russian forces launched missiles at   the Kholodnohirskyi and Novobavarksyi districts of Kharkiv, injuring 11 people, said Oleh Syniehubov, the governor of the region.

Gwara Media journalists were at the impact site to document the consequences of the Russian attack.

Syniehubov said that medics hospitalized four people with blast injuries, including a 44-year-old man who is in critical condition.

Russians attacked the territory of the local business in the Novobavarskyi district, according to the governor. 

Oleksii, one of the workers, told Gwara journalists that he heard three explosions in total. One of them was very loud, and plaster fell from the walls inside the building after it.

In the Kholodnohirskyi district, a Russian attack damaged at least 10 houses and cars, said the Kharkiv regional Prosecutor’s Office.

Oleksii, a Kharkiv local who lives in a house in this district and was at home during the attack. He said that the explosion damaged the roof of the house and his garage.

Oleksii’s wife received medical help because she was in shock. Before the attack, the woman had just returned from the hospital after receiving treatment for her illness.

Kharkiv prosecutors said that Russians used Banderol missiles to attack Kharkiv.
