Electricity supply has been restored in 75% of the liberated territories in Kharkiv Oblast. By Feb. 1, all the residents of Kharkiv Oblast will be provided with energy.

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration (RMA) Oleh Syniehubov.

“25% remain without electricity, but they are the hardest. We have already restored the power supply for the main directions, we will just do it even faster in the future,” Syniehubov said.

He noted that by Feb. 1, it is planned to restore the energy supply in all the liberated territories of Kharkiv Oblast.

“We have forecasted that by the end of the year we will connect another 15% and by Feb. 1, all 100% of the liberated territories will have electricity,” Syniehubov added.

Also, the head of the RMA reported that after the recent missile attack, the power supply had been fully restored in Kharkiv Oblast; rolling blackouts are currently being introduced. Electricity is turned off for no more than 4-5 hours per day for each household.

Earlier, the Ukrainian government introduced a free exchange program for the people. Outdated incandescent bulbs can be exchanged for new LED ones.
