The State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the regional centre of emergency medical care were handed over new cars from the Association of Ukrainians of Luxembourg LUkraine asbl on Svobody Square in Kharkiv.
Overall, 112 vehicles are to be delivered in Ukraine.
“This is modern equipment that will help us to perform tasks promptly. Both in extinguishing fires and providing assistance to people. We will provide training for the personnel.
Unfortunately, we do not have enough vehicles of this type. The available equipment was manufactured in 1990-1995, we need to renew it”, Oleksandr Volobuiev, Head of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in Kharkiv Oblast, commented.
The LUkraine asbl Association was established in 2014 by Ukrainians in Luxembourg. The impetus for its creation was the Russian military aggression against Ukraine in 2014 after the victory of the Revolution of Dignity. All these years, the main goal of the organization is to save human life and build the Ukrainian community in Luxembourg. The Association works on a volunteer basis and is funded by donations.
