Russians hit their own mines and then got blown up in a Ukrainian drone strike
In Kupiansk’s direction, two Russian T-72 tanks were returning to their positions after an unsuccessful assault and run over their own mines. After that, Ukrainian soldiers “finished them off”.
The press office of the Steel Border unit reported about that.
“One tank exploded at once, and another’s [tracks got damaged]. Two kamikaze drones of the 15th mobile border guard unit, Steel Border [Stalevyi Kordon, — ed.] urgently flew out to the damaged tank and performed explosive maintenance [for it],” says their message.
As such, the second tank got blown up as well. Both cannot be repaired.
