CRIMEA, Sep. 16 — In the night, Ukrainian forces attacked Russian aircraft Su-24 at the airfield in Saky in the occupied Crimea, the General Staff of Ukrainian forces reported.
The Su-24 is a Soviet supersoniс attack aircraft. Its main upgraded variant, the Su-24M, is utilized both in Ukrainian and Russian armies.
Ukrainian forces also attacked Russian technical reconnaissance posts in Suvorove and Rysove settlements in Crimea.
The General Staff said that on the same day, Ukrainian forces attacked a place for storing, preparing, and launching Russian kamikaze drones near Donetsk, Pokrovsk, and Staromlynivka settlements in the occupied part of the Donetsk oblast and in Pokrovske of the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia oblast.
Also, Ukraine hit a Russian ammunition depot in occupied Luhansk oblast and fuel and lubricant storage in occupied Zaporizhzhia oblast.
