Sep. 21 — Ukrainian hackers of the Ukrainian Militant hacking community claim that they received a large amount of technical documentation connected to Russian naval systems, the Ukrainian Militant said.

The hackers said that they got information on the scientific, technical, design, testing, and operational infrastructure of Russian naval developments related to the submarine fleet, navigation, hydroacoustics, and marine robotics.

These materials include documents related to the activities of Russian organizations involved in the development of navigation, hydrographic, and underwater equipment.

The documents also contain information on interactions among Russian businesses and research centers that supply Naval Forces with provision or technologies, the structure of the partnership, the stages of research and development, testing, and the current status of individual projects.

Regarding Russian naval technologies, the Ukrainian Militant said that part of the documentation concerns the development of high-precision inertial navigation, autonomous operation without satellite navigation, position correction for submarines and autonomous underwater vehicles based on geophysical fields, and the transition of the Russian military hydrography to modern international standards.

The documents also contain information on nuclear-powered and diesel-electric submarines, frigates, corvettes, amphibious ships, and Arctic-class ships.

Ukrainian Militant reported the existence of materials from classified research projects and information classified by Russian officials as “secret” and “top secret” in this field.

Overall, the documents show the involvement of Russian specialists in providing military-scientific support for 70 projects involving ships, vessels, and submarines that are under construction or undergoing modernization.
