UKRAINE, CRIMEA, Jun. 23 — On Jun. 22, Ukrainian forces hit a railway bridge over the North Crimean Canal in Russian-occupied Crimea, reported Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces (SOF).

According to the SOF, Ukrainian drones targeted a section of the bridge near the village of Rozdolne in northwestern Crimea, damaging the railway tracks.

The railway bridge itself is a key logistics route connecting Crimea with Russian-occupied areas of Ukraine’s Kherson region. SOF added that the bridge is part of a transportation corridor used to move cargo, supplies, and military equipment from Russia through Crimea to support forces on the southern axis and to sustain Russian military infrastructure across Crimea.

The Ukrainian military said that underground members of the SOF resistance movement reported that specialized railway repair equipment had arrived at the site. The second phase of the mission then began. Overnight into Jun. 23, Ukrainian drones attacked both the repair equipment and the remaining sections of the bridge again.

Earlier, on Jun. 18, Krymskyi Veter, a Crimea-based Telegram channel, also reported about 20 explosions in the area of a railway bridge near Rozdolne.
