UKRAINE, SIMFEROPOL, Jun. 8 — Ukraine launched airstrikes at Russian oil and military infrastructure, reported Special Operation Forces (SOF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In particular, the military reported attacks on the Altan oil base in Hvardiiske near Simferopol in Russian-occupied Crimea, which were conducted by Middle Strike units.

The SOF reported that there were 17 fuel reservoirs, a pump station, an automobile and railway terminals located at the Altan oil base. Russians use Altan for accumulating and storing fuel and grease products.

Such attacks are aimed at weakening Russian logistics, fuel supply, and intelligence systems in the rear, Ukraine’s military said.

On Jun. 5, Ukraine attacked five ships in the ports of Russian-occupied Mariupol, Berdiansk, and nearest settlements.
