UKRAINE, Jun. 12 — Ukrainian forces attacked a Russian logistic convoy of nearly 50 trucks with oil and ammunition near Armiansk, a city in the north of Russian-occupied Crimea, near the Kherson region, said Dmytro Filatov, with callsign Perun, a head of the 1st Separate Assault Regiment, to Suspilne Ukraine.
According to Filatov, Ukrainian attacks critically damaged the Chonhar bridge in the Russian-occupied part of the Kherson region. Now, neither trucks, nor cars can use it. So, the Russians are forced to change logistics and are looking for new supply routes in Crimea.
“In Armiansk, we attacked trucks with oil and ammunition. There were about 50 trucks, and we destroyed some of them,” said Filatov.
He also said that, currently, Russian forces are unable to supply their units properly, and, in the future, they will have to spend a lot of resources repairing these roads.
According to Suspilne, pro-Russian officials of the occupied part of the Kherson oblast spoke of the Ukrainian drone attack on the Chonhar bridge. On Jun. 7-9, traffic across the bridge was blocked because of damage.
