UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Jun. 12 — Over the last few days, Russian forces have increased the number of infantry assaults on the Kupiansk, Lyman, and Pokrovsk axes, said Andrii Demchenko, the spokesperson for the Ukrainian border guard during the national telethon.

Demchenko said about the defense zones where border guard units are operating.

Also, Russians continue to attack towards Vovchanski Khutory village north of the Kharkiv oblast.

Demchenko added, though, in total, Russian forces reduced the number of assaults in the Kharkiv region, with the exception of the Kupiansk direction. 

This spring, the Ukrainian military reported on Russian active assaults on border settlements north of Kharkiv oblast.
