UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Aug. 6 — Ukrainian forces destroyed Russian logistics on the Kupiansk axis over the past days, said the 77th Airmobile Brigade Naddnipryanska.

The brigade destroyed three Russian generators, six ground drones, seven bikes, five quadbikes, and 11 light vehicles.

At the same time, the military said Russian forces continue trying to control Ukrainian logistics routes, build up resources for future assault operations, and strike civilian infrastructure across Kharkiv oblast.

Vadym Ponka, an officer of the communications unit of the 14th Mechanized Brigade, told ArmyInform that Russians continue to attack towards Ukrainian positions  in small groups on the Kupiansk axis. They don’t advance far and can remain in the same place for weeks.

According to Ponka, Russian troops take shelter in dugouts or destroyed buildings and report to their command which direction Ukrainian drones are flying.

To supply these groups, Russian FPV drones deliver canned meat, water, and even a power bank taped to the drone so the soldiers can recharge their radios, the military said.

Ukrainian drone operators detect and destroy such Russian groups, Ponka said.

The Kupiansk district is an eastern part of the Kharkiv oblast. Russian forces are attacking settlements in the district every day, with some of them now completely uninhabitable. Recently, local authorities expanded the mandatory evacuation zone there.
