KHARKIV OBLAST, Feb 20 — Sappers neutralized 168 explosive munitions in the Kharkiv Oblast over the week of February 12-18, said Yevhen Vasylenko, a spokesman for the State Emergency Service in the Kharkiv Oblast.

In total, 19 pyrotechnic groups of the SES operate in the Oblast: 101 sappers using 36 pieces of equipment. The sappers had 121 demining visits over the past week.

Since the beginning of the deoccupation of the Kharkiv Oblast, SES specialists cleared more than 4,381 hectares of territory and defused almost 90,000 explosive munitions.

During the week, mine explosions killed two civilians and injured two. In total, in the Kharkiv Oblast, the explosions injured more than 200 people. This is the highest figure among Ukrainian oblasts.
