KHARKIV OBLAST, Mar 1 — This morning, the Russian army carried out a massive shelling of Vovchansk in the Kharkiv Oblast. There were at least 30 explosions in the city. 

The Russian shelling wounded a resident born in 1956, reported the press service of the Main Department of the National Police in the Kharkiv Oblast.

Special services are working at the hit site. The Russian military damaged private houses.

As reported, the Russian military shelled about 15 settlements in the Kharkiv Oblast with artillery and mortars over the past day. They hit at least three villages with airstrikes. The Russian attacks wounded four people.

The Russian army dropped a munition from a drone in the village of Mytrofanivka, Kupiansk district, injuring a 47-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman. They are in the hospital with wounds. The Russian military hit the village of Osynove, Kupiansk district, with an FAB-500 [a 500-kilogram general-purpose aerial bomb with a high-explosive warhead developed in the Soviet Union — ed.], injuring a man and damaging a crossing.
