UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Mar 18 — At night, the Russian military launched a missile attack on a border town in the Kharkiv Oblast. The shelling damaged the local fire station building.

The press service of the State Emergency Service in the Kharkiv Oblast reported this on Telegram.

The SES noted that 11 rescuers were inside the fire station at the time of the Russian shelling. One of them, a rescue driver of the local unit, suffered an arm injury. He received medical assistance at the hit site.

The missile attack smashed the windows, doors, and gates of the fire station and damaged the roof and facade of the building. In addition, the Russian attack damaged four fire and rescue vehicles parked nearby.

In addition, the Russian army hit Vovchansk, Hoptivka, and Basove in the Kharkiv Oblast with airstrikes over the past day.

The Russian army fired mortars and artillery at more than 140 settlements in the Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts.

On March 17, the Russian military shelled the Kharkiv Oblast, injuring a 36-year-old paramedic, a 56-year-old ambulance driver and a 62-year-old woman.
