UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Aug. 7 — Russian forces attacked Balakliia in the Izium district in eastern Kharkiv oblast with missiles, injuring four women aged 20, 54, 64, and 77 years old and two men aged 22 and 84 years old, said the Kharkiv regional police.
The attack damaged an educational institution, an administrative building, a children’s clinic building, houses, shops, and a garage.
Apart from that, over the past day, Russian forces attacked 21 settlements in the Kharkiv oblast with two missiles, three glide bombs, and 45 drones of different types, reported Oleh Syniehubov, governor of the Kharkiv oblast.
Russians attacked Izium itself with glide bombs, damaging an administrative building, houses, an apartment building, and a car. Also, they hit a wheat field and a farm in the Izium district.
In Lozova in southern Kharkiv oblast, Russian drones hit the railway station, killing two and injuring 11 people.
In the Kharkiv district, Russians attacked a civilian car with a drone in the Derhachi community. The attack injured a man. Also, they damaged houses, shops, civilian businesses, and power networks in the community.
In the Kupiansk district, Russians injured a man in the Shevchenkove community.
Also, Russian attacks damaged houses, an educational institution, power networks, cars, and a truck in the Bohodukhiv district.
