UKRAINE, BALAKLIIA, Aug. 13 — On Aug. 12, Russian forces attacked the city of Balakliia in the Izium district east of the Kharkiv oblast with two Banderol missiles, said the Kharkiv regional Emergency Service.
The first attack injured two people and damaged an apartment building, causing the fire on its roof, said the Izium district Military Administration.
Another Russian missile hit a house. The attack injured another civilian and damaged houses and an apartment building nearby.
Balakliia is a city in the Izium district, more than 55 miles (90 kilometers) from Kharkiv. The Russian army occupied the city in March 2022, and Ukrainian troops liberated it during the Kharkiv counteroffensive in September 2022.
