UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Aug. 13 — In the morning, Russian forces attacked Verbivka village in the Izium district in eastern Kharkiv oblast with kamikaze drones, injuring five people, said the Kharkiv regional police.
Two Russian drones hit a nonresidential building and a house and injured two men aged 50 and 24 years old and three women aged 67, 69, and 47 years old.
Verbivka is located on the outskirts of Balakliia. Yesterday, Russians attacked Balakliia with two Banderol missiles.
Apart from that, over the past day, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and 14 settlements in the region with rocket artillery, two missiles, two glide bombs, and 43 drones of different types, said Oleh Syniehubov, governor of the Kharkiv oblast.
In the Kharkiv district, a Russian attack killed a 36-year-old woman in Tsyrkuny settlement and damaged houses, cars, civilian business, and a cemetery in Liubotyn, Cherkaska Lozova, and Vilshany settlements.
