UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Apr. 24 — In the morning, Russian forces launched drones at central Balakliia, a city in the Izium district of Kharkiv oblast, located southeast of Kharkiv. The attack injured two people, said Vitalii Karabanov, the head of local military administration.

Oleh Syniehubov, the governor of the Kharkiv oblast, said that a Russian attack hit a residential area in Balakliia, causing a fire in a house and cars, and injuring a man and a woman.

Later, the governor said that the attack killed a 60-year-old woman.

Stepan Maselskyi, the head of the military administration of Izium district, told Suspilne Kharkiv about another killed civilian in Balakliia, who was in one of the damaged cars.

He also said that a Russian drone damaged an educational facility building.

Over the past day, Russian forces attacked three settlements in the Kharkiv oblast with two glide bombs and 13 drones of different types, reported Syniehubov.

Russian attacks on the Kharkiv district injured a woman in the Kozacha Lopan settlement and damaged houses in the Tsupivka village.

In the Chuhuiv district, Russian forces damaged power networks and houses in Novyi Burluk village.
