RUSSIA, BELGOROD OBLAST, Apr. 24 — Ukrainian special forces unit Lasar’s Group attacked Russian anti-aircraft missile system S-300V in the Belgorod oblast, Russia, reported the press service of the Lasar’s Group.
According to the press service, Ukrainian drone operators conducted an operation in the middle of April, attacking the region of the Belgorod oblast where Russian forces concentrated air defense to protect their equipment and infantry.
Aerial reconnaissance of the Lasar’s Group identified the exact coordinates of the S-300V, and Ukrainian attack drones hit the 9A82 launcher of the complex, Lasar’s Group said.
The Lasar’s Group noted that Russian air defense systems remain one of its top targets.
Earlier, the Ukrainian army repelled a Russian assault on Bochkove, a village near the state border north of Kharkiv, east of Vovchansk.
