UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, July 31 —  The bodies of two men with explosive injuries were found in Kupiansk and Izium districts, reported Oleh Syniehubov, governor of Kharkiv Oblast.

Kharkiv Oblast is one of the most heavily mined regions. More than 570,000 hectares of land in the Kharkiv region need to be inspected for mines and explosive devices after the Russian occupation. 

In the village of Kucherivka, Kupiansk district, the body of a 61-year-old man with traces of explosive trauma was found in a garage, Syniehubov said.

In the village of Mala Komyshuvakha, Izium district, a VAZ 2106 car with the body of a 61-year-old man inside was found. According to Syniehubov, the man sustained injuries due to an explosion of an unknown type of mine.

Since the start of the full-scale war, pyrotechnic units of Ukraine’s State Emergency Service have inspected about 7,000 hectares of the Kharkiv region and found and defused more than 94,000 explosive devices.
