UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Oct 11 — At about 12:06 p.m., Russian troops attacked Kozacha Lopan with an FPV drone, injuring an 86-year-old man, reported Viacheslav Zadorenko, head of the Derhachi City Territorial Council.
Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian artillery shelling and air strikes often, even more so since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions in May.
Viacheslav Zadorenko said that the elderly man is in the hospital, and his life is not in danger.
The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that Russians attacked the settlements of the Kupiansk district several times.
Russians attacked the village of Kruhliakivka, killing a 64-year-old woman. On the same day, at about 4:30 p.m., Russia attacked Kupiansk, injuring a 77-year-old man.
