UKRAINE, KHARKIV, May 22 — Russian forces attacked the Kharkiv outskirts with at least five first person view (FPV) drones in one day, reported the Kharkiv regional Prosecutor’s Office.
In the morning of May 21, a Russian FPV drone attacked a truck on the northern part of the ring road in 3 kilometers (~1,9 miles), killing a driver. The Kharkiv regional police closed this part of the road because of the threat of repeated attacks.
After this attack, the Russians conducted another one. An FPV drone hit a police car, which came to work with consequences of the Russian attack on the truck. The attack destroyed one police car. No police officers were injured.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, Russian forces launched five FPV drones on this part of the ring road near Kharkiv in just one hour.
Also, one Russian FPV hit the roof of the garage in the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv. The drone didn’t explode. No casualties were reported.
