UKRAINE, KHARKIV, May 25 — The northern part of the ring road near Kharkiv remains closed after five Russian first-person view (FPV) drones attacked it, said the press service of the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service of the Kharkiv oblast to Gwara Media.
In the morning of May 21, a Russian FPV drone attacked a truck in the northern part of the ring road stretching for 3 kilometers (~1,9 miles), killing a driver. The Kharkiv regional police closed this part of the road because of the threat of repeated attacks.
The Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service’s press office said that they keep consulting with other services regarding the timeline for opening the section to traffic.
Over the past day, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and 21 settlements in the region with 67 drones of different types, injuring 17 people.
