UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Sep. 24 — Two Russian first-person view (FPV) drones attacked special-purpose trucks near one of the Mala Danylivka community settlements in the Kharkiv district, killing a driver, Oleksandr Hololobov, the head of the Mala Danylivka community, said.

According to Hololobov, the attack took place on the road from Derhachi, a town in the Kharkiv region, to Piatykhatky, a northern district of Kharkiv. This is the area where the threat from Russian FPVs is increasing. Hololobov warned against using this route unless necessary.

Yehor, an employee of the municipal utility that owns the trucks, told the local media outlet Suspilne Kharkiv that he and his colleague, Yevhenii, were driving from a garbage dump in the village of Cherkaska Lozova. After a Russian FPV drone attack, a piece of debris flew through the roof of the vehicle. Yevhenii died at the scene.

Yehor said that the Russian drone was using fiber-optic cables, which is why their drone detector did not pick up the signal.
