May 21 — Special Operations Center “А” of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) attacked the headquarters of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) in Henichenska Hirka in Russian-occupied Kherson oblast, killing or injuring over 100 Russian servicemen, said Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine.

The President also said that during the attack, the SBU destroyed a Russian anti-aircraft system Pantsir on the occupied Ukrainian territory. This system works against drones, missiles, aviation, and high-precision weapons.

On May 17, four days before the attack on FSB headquarters, SBU, alongside the Defense Forces of Ukraine, launched an air raid on Belbek Russian air base in Russian-occupied Crimea, reported Ukrainska Pravda, a Ukrainian media outlet, referring to their sources in SBU.

The Ukrainian attack damaged military infrastructure and air defense equipment on the base.
