UKRAINE, Nov. 2 — Ukrainian forces killed or wounded 2,500 Russian soldiers on Nov. 1, which is the highest number of Russian military losses since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
On Nov. 1, Ukrainian forces killed or injured one Russian soldier every 35 seconds and over 100 Russians each hour, the General Staff added.
Earlier, the highest number was 2,250 Russian military losses, which Ukrainian forces recorded on Oct. 21 of this year.
On this day, the Unmanned Systems Forces killed or injured 680 Russians.
The General Staff has called this October the month with the highest losses for the Russian army, totaling 54,400.
“54,400 — that’s nearly the entire population of the city of Vorkuta in Russia, which is home to about 55,000 people. Think about it. One month — one city,” the General Staff said.
Also, the Special Operations Center of the Security Service of Ukraine, known as Alpha, reported 2,146 killed and 1,052 wounded Russian soldiers over one week. They called it a “record number” of casualties among Russian forces for the center in such a short period of time.
