UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Jun. 19 — Over the past day, Russia attacked Kharkiv and 24 settlements of the region, killing two people, injuring at least 15 others, Oleh Syniehubov, the governor of the region, reported.
In total, Russian troops deployed 11 glide bombs, and 24 drones of different types during the attacks on the Kharkiv region, Syniehubov added.
Overnight, Russian forces hit Kharkiv with a glide bomb for the first time since April. They attacked Kholodnohirskyi district, injuring nine people, including four children, and damaging 40 houses. At 12:37 pm, Ihor Terekhov, the city’s mayor, said that authorities found the body fragments at the impact site.
In Bohodukhiv, a city in the north of Kharkiv region, a 57-year-old woman suffered acute stress reaction after the Russian attack. The Russian attacks also injured two women aged 63 and 68 in the In the village of Prykolotne, in the Velykyi Burluk community in the Kupiansk district.
In the village of Pisochyn, a 71-year-old woman also suffered an acute stress reaction after the Russian attack. Another 71-year-old woman was injured in the village of Cherkaska Lozova in the Malodanylivska community.
Overall, Russian strikes caused the most damage to civilian infrastructure in the Bohodukhiv District. The attacks also damaged property in the Kupiansk, Kharkiv, Lozova, and Chuhuiv districts of the region.
