UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Aug. 4 — A Russian drone attacked a village in the Shevchenkivske community of the Kupiansk district in eastern Kharkiv oblast. The drone hit a house, killing a man and injuring a woman, the Kharkiv regional police reported.
Over the past day, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and 18 settlements in the region with one missile, one glide bomb, and 61 drones of different types, said Oleh Syniehubov, governor of the Kharkiv oblast.
In the Bohodukhiv district, a Russian airstrike injured an eight-year-old boy and a 44-year-old woman in Staryi Merchik. They also damaged a house in Stepne village.
In the Chuhuiv district, Russians attacked Zadonetske village, injuring two women and a man and damaging houses and cars.
Debris of a Russian drone, shot down by Ukraine’s air defence units during an attack on Kharkiv, fell in the Novobavarskyi district of the city. No casualties were reported.
Also, Russian attacks damaged houses, cars, a civilian business, outbuildings, and power networks in the Kharkiv and Izium districts.
