Russian army continues an offensive in the Kupiansk direction despite significant personnel and equipment losses, shares Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, in the interview with Ukrinform.
According to Syniehubov, the adversary tries to advance near Ivanivka, Petropavlivka, and other settlements — and move towards Kupiansk. Russian assault troops comprise different units, e.g. “Storm-Z” [Шторм-Z, — ed.], former “Wagnerites,” regular Russian troops, etc.

“They throw their [soldiers away] as meat, [they] have absolutely no regard for the losses. They don’t have any strategy, they go into assaults again and again,” Syniehubov said.
For assault operations, Russians use mortars, artillery, aerial bombs, and kamikaze drones, he reported. He added that the Ukrainian forces are pushing back this offensive, causing Russians personnel losses. The combat on the Kupiansk axis continues.
