On September 19, Russian aviation hit the bridge over the Oskil river in Kupiansk. The latest ISW report suggests that, in such a way, they’ve tried to disrupt Ukrainian supply efforts.
“Ukrainian forces maintain control of several other bridges across the Oskil, however,” ISW states in the report.
The Russian army continues to pressure Ukrainian forces northeast of Kupiansk and on the east bank of Oskil River west from Svatove.
Ukrainian army led a limited offense on the Kupiansk-Svatove-Kreminna line, ISW notes.
Apart from that, ISW reports that geolocated footage published on September 18 shows Ukrainian forces retreating from southwestern Novoselivske, which is located 15 km north of Svatove, indicating that the Ukrainian troops may retain the ability to reach the outskirts of the settlement.
