UKRAINE, Sep. 11 — Since 2022, Russian attacks on energy infrastructure have killed 319 energy workers, the Ministry of Energy said.

On Sep. 11, 2022, Russia conducted the first massive attack on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine. It was the first time that an attack killed energy workers, the Ministry said.

Yesterday evening, a Russian fiber-optic FPV drone killed Ivan Katunin, an energy worker from Zolochiv settlement in the northern Kharkiv oblast, the local administration said.

Also, the Ministry said that Russia killed 1,813 energy workers who had been mobilized into the Ukrainian forces and were fighting on the frontline.
