UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, May 26 — Over the past week, the State Emergency Services of the Kharkiv region evacuated 427 people from dangerous areas in the Kharkiv oblast, said the press service of the Kharkiv regional State Emergency Service.
The press service of the Emergency Service said that there are 38 children among the evacuated people. Also, rescuers evacuated 57 people with disabilities.
This spring, Russian forces once again intensified their assaults in Kharkiv oblast, utilizing green cover and better weather—e.g., in April, Ukrainian military reported on Russian active assaults on border settlements north of the region. Russia also increased the kill zone in the Kharkiv region, using fiber-optic drones, which could not be affected by electronic warfare.
On May 25, the Kharkiv regional police evacuated an older man with limited mobility and the mother with a child from the Velykyi Burluk community northeast of the Kharkiv oblast.
