UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Nov 12 – In the Kharkiv direction over the past day, Russian troops launched one missile attack, seven airstrikes using seven glide bombs (KABs), and 74 kamikaze drone strikes. They fired 425 times at the positions of the Defense Forces, reported the “Kharkiv” group of forces.

Russia started its new offensive north and northeast in the Kharkiv region in May, but Ukrainian troops have stabilized the frontline in this section since. Now, heavy battles are ongoing in and around Vovchansk (three miles from the border, 46 miles away from Kharkiv) and near Lyptsi (six miles from the border, 12 miles from Kharkiv.)

Russian army lost 97 people in the Kharkiv direction over the past day, the “Kharkiv” wrote.

Also, on the Kharkiv axis, Russia lost 57 units of weapons and military equipment, including one artillery system, 18 vehicles, four units of special equipment, and 34 unmanned aerial vehicles.

The General Staff reported that over the past day, in the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions six times near Starytsia and Vovchansk.
