Kharkiv Academy of Continuing Education got a specialized car equipped as a mobile inclusive resource center for children with special educational needs.

Now children with special educational needs can receive modern diagnostics and assistance even in the most remote villages of Kharkiv Oblast.

According to the head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syneyhubov, the car was given to Kharkiv Oblast as a gift by a UK volunteer. Then it was turned into the first mobile inclusive resource center for children with special educational needs in Kharkiv Oblast.

Now specialists – psychologists, reflexologists, rehabilitators, and speech therapists can come to any corner of the region where there are children who need their help. The diagnostics or special activities for children can be performed directly in the mobile center.

“We care about our special kids and provide them with the opportunity to develop even in wartime conditions,” wrote Syneyhubov.

Earlier this week the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska presented Better Time Stories, the book project for Ukrainian children who had been forced to leave for European countries because of the war.
