KHARKIV OBLAST, Feb 8 — The Russian military shelled at least 20 settlements in the Kharkiv region with artillery and mortar over the past day.

The attack injured two people, said Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

The Russian military damaged a house and a gas pipeline in Kupiansk, and a 67-year-old resident sustained light injuries. 

The Russian army also hit the village of Hlushkivka in the Kupiansk district. The attack injured a 42-year-old man, he sustained an explosive injury.

The Russian military used multiple rocket launchers in Vovchansk, Chuhuiv district. They destroyed buildings in Kurylivka and Hryhorivka. The Russian troops hit Tabaivka in the Kupiansk district with airstrikes.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled three attacks near Synkivka and Ivanivka in the Kharkiv Oblast, where Russian troops tried to break the defenses, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces informed about this in a morning report.
