KHARKIV OBLAST, Feb 8 — On February 7, at about 7 p.m., Russian troops shelled the village of Kurylivka, Kupiansk district. A residential building caught fire because of the attack, the press service of the State Emergency Service in Kharkiv Oblast reported.

The fire spread through 80 square meters. Ten rescuers were working at the hit site. No one was injured.

The Russian military shelled at least 20 settlements in the Kharkiv Oblast with artillery and mortars over the past day, said Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

The Russian military damaged a house and a gas pipeline in Kupiansk, and a 67-year-old resident sustained light injuries. The Russian army also hit the village of Hlushkivka in the Kupiansk district. The attack injured a 42-year-old man, he suffered an explosive injury.

The Russian military used multiple rocket launchers in Vovchansk, Chuhuiv district. They destroyed buildings in Kurylivka and Hryhorivka. The Russian troops hit Tabaivka in the Kupiansk district with airstrikes.
