KHARKIV OBLAST, Mar 12 — The Russian mortar shelling killed one person and wounded three others in the village of Hlushkivka, Kupiansk district, reported the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

According to him, the Russian army wounded men aged 46, 38 and 46. In addition, they injured a 66-year-old woman and damaged a private house in Vovchansk.

The detonation of an unknown explosive object killed a 54-year-old man in the village of Verbivka, Izium district.

In total, over the past day, Russian troops shelled at least 15 towns and villages in the Kharkiv Oblast with artillery and mortars, including Synkivka, Udy, Strilecha, Starytsia, and Berestove. The Russian army hit Obukhivka, Ambarne, Kupiansk, and Petropavlivka with airstrikes.

In Kupiansk, the Russian army dropped an aerial bomb on a multi-story building. In Vovchansk, the shelling damaged a private household. In Kozacha Lopan, Derhachi district, the Russian military damaged a private household. In Vovchansk, the Russian shelling damaged three private houses. In Derhachi, the Russians dropped a munition, damaging a car.
