UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Oct. 1 — Ukrainian tanks reportedly attacked Russian positions near Vilkhuvatka village in the Kharkiv oblast, reported Militarnyi, a Ukrainian defense media outlet, after analyzing the CODE 9.2 regiment video.

Vilkhuvatka is located in the northeastern part of Kharkiv oblast, in the Kupiansk district, which the Russian troops have been actively attacking since the start of their second offensive on the region in 2024.

Militarnyi reports that the Ukrainian operation indicates the presence of Russian troops in the area near the village.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian forces, in its report for Sept. 30, said that Russian troops are attempting to advance toward Vilkhuvatka.

The regiment itself did not specify the exact location where they carried out the attack, but Militarnyi journalists identified that it took place at the entrance to Vilkhuvatka.

According to CODE 9.2, Ukrainian forces supported the tank attack with first-person view (FPV) drones, reconnaissance drones, and VAMPIRE bomber drones. The regiment equipped tanks with additional protection against Russian FPV drones.

The 475th separate assault CODE 9.2 regiment is known for conducting offensive operations using armored vehicles and drones.
