UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Jun. 17 — On Jun. 16, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and eight settlements in the region, injuring at least 11 people, reported Oleh Syniehubov, the governor of the region.

Over the past day, Russian forces hit Kharkiv and settlements in the region with one missile, one glide bomb, and 28 drones of different types, Syniehubov added. 

In the morning, Russian drones attacked Kyivskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts of Kharkiv, injuring three men aged 67, 44, and 53, and a 66-year-old woman.

In Bohodukhiv, a city in the north of Kharkiv region, after a series of Russian attacks, men aged 70, 64, 20, and women aged 55, 45, 32 were injured.

Russian forces also launched an air attack on the village of Berezhne, in the frontline Vovchansk community, injuring a 68-year-old woman. 

Near the village of Petrivka in the Zolochiv community, a civilian car ran over an explosive device, injuring a 60-year-old man.

In the village of Staryi Saltiv, Chuhuiv district, a drone strike injured one person, reported the State Emergency Service of the Kharkiv region.

Overall, the Russian attack also damaged civilian infrastructure across the region, including in the Bohodukhiv, Kupiansk, Izium, Kharkiv, and Chuhuiv districts.
