UKRAINE, KUPIANSK DISTRICT, Feb 19 — Russia shelled three settlements of the Kupiansk district in the Kharkiv oblast, killing one person and injuring four, reports the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
Russia attacks Kharkiv oblast often because of its proximity to the border and the frontline. Since September, strikes on the eastern and southeastern parts of the region ramped up as Russia intensified its offensive on the Kupiansk axis.
At 3:30 p.m. Russia hit a residential sector in the Kharkiv region in Kharkiv Oblast with a glide bomb, killing a 59-year-old man. His body was recovered from under the debris. The impact blast destroyed 10 households and outbuildings.

Russian FPV drone hit the Vilkhuvatka village of the Kupiansk district around 1:25 p.m., injuring two men, 65 and 55, and damaging houses in the settlement.
The Russian airstrike on Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi hit a building, and it caught on fire. The attack injured two people who got hospitalized afterward.

Kupiansk Prosecutor’s office opened a pre-trial investigation into the Russian army committing war crimes (under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.)
