UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Sep. 28 — Russian forces attacked the village of Shestakove in the Chuhui district in the Kharkiv oblast, hitting a civilian car. The attack killed a 67-year-old man and injured a 65-year-old woman, the Kharkiv regional police said.

Over the past day, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and 12 settlements in the region with six glide bombs and 77 drones of different types, Oleh Syniehubov, governor of the region, said.

In Kharkiv, Russians attacked the Kyivskyi, Saltivskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts. In the Saltivskyi district, a Russian glide bomb hit an apartment building. According to the Kharkiv regional Prosecutor’s Office, the attack injured 43 people, including 11 children.

In the Kupiansk district, Russian attacks on the Shevchenkove settlement damaged houses and a storage building, injuring a man. They also attacked a Velykyi Burluk settlement, killing a woman and injuring a man.

Over the Kharkiv oblast, Russian attacks damaged shops, an apartment building, a car, and outbuildings in the Izium district, a car, outbuildings, and houses in the Kharkiv district, and houses in the Bohodukhiv and Lozova districts.
