UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, May 18 — Over the past week, Russian forces attacked 63 settlements in the Kharkiv oblast, injuring 57 people, including nine children, reported Oleh Syniehubov, the governor of the region.
Syniehubov said that there were five boys aged 8, 12, 16, 13, and 11 years old and four girls aged 13, 8, 16, and 8 years old among the injured children.
The governor also said that Russian attacks killed one person.
Over the week, Russians used 17 glide bombs, 45 Geran-2 drones, 30 Molniya drones, one Lancet drone, 49 FPV drones, and 219 drones of unidentified types to attack the Kharkiv oblast.
Russians attacked the civilian infrastructure of the Bohodukhiv district the most, damaging 12 apartment buildings, 35 houses, an educational institution, a hospital, four administrative buildings, a cafe, three shops, power networks, eight cars, three buses, and a tractor.
In the Kupiansk district, Russian attacks damaged an apartment building, eight houses, an administrative building, power networks, a farm, an education institution, two storage buildings, and four cars.
Russians also attacked Kharkiv during the week, damaging seven apartment buildings, two houses, an educational institution, civilian business, four restaurants, railway infrastructure, shops, an entrance to a subway station, and 20 cars.
