UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Dec 12 – On December 11 at 4:45 p.m., the Russian MLRS attack on the village of Kutkivka, Kupiansk district, destroyed the building of an educational institution, reported Oleh Syniehubov, governor of Kharkiv Oblast.

Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian shelling and airstrikes, often during the full-scale invasion, as Moscow targets civilian and critical infrastructure in the region.

According to the police, in the morning of the same day, the Russian army shelled the village of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi. The type of weapon is currently being established. The shelling caused a fire in a residential building. No one was injured.

Also, in the afternoon, law enforcement officers recorded a Russian FPV drone strike in Kupiansk. According to their information, no one was injured and nothing were damaged. 

In addition, since February 24, 2022, the Russians damaged more than half of Kharkiv’s educational facilities, including 134 schools out of 184 and 109 kindergartens out of 205.

On December 9, Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov said on Ukrainian TV that during the full-scale invasion, Russia caused almost €10 billion in damages to Kharkiv.
