During the 11 months of the full-scale war in Kharkiv Oblast, more than 18,000 buildings have been destroyed, including 8,000 residential buildings.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov said this at the media center.

” Among them, more than 8,000 are residential buildings, 4,000 are high-rise buildings, and about 4,000 are private households. Before the new year, we focused on restoring critical infrastructure to ensure the resumption of electricity, water and heat supply in winter,” the head of the region stated.

In addition, several housing restoration projects were implemented – these are high-rise buildings in Izium, so that people can return and use their homes. There are 105 schools in the region to be restored, while the total number of schools in the country will be about 150.

  • Energy workers restored the last street that had been de-energized due to Russian shelling in Izium in Kharkiv Oblast.
  • The hospital in Balakliia, Kharkiv Oblast, which was destroyed by the occupiers, has resumed work.
